Deer Droppings around feeders
I'm kinda bored and pondering this question: Why are there never any deer droppings around the corn feeders? If you look at a white oak the deer are hitting hard, you will find lots of droppings but I have never seen one pile at a corn feeder. The trail cams will show deer on the feeders for hours at a time and never any droppings. I figured the great minds of Salty Cajun could shed some light on this for me

I have them in , the thickets around my feeders. I think they hand in the thickets waiting on the feeder to go off.
I believe that the deer don't spend time there like they do at feed trees. At a feed tree they have to break open the acorn, sometimes, browse around, find good acorns, etc. At a feeder they come in "gobble up" the corn and move on. |
Where we deer hunt in Oklahoma they crap all over in and around the corn. They some nasty critters

Cajun Deer are so worried about being shot at a feeder, they are anal retentive while at the feeder! HA!
