Hoop Net

I have just bought a new hoop net and am fishing the Lake Arthur area. I have never used a hoop net and was wanting some information on baiting and how and where to set them.

I can sit here and type for hours on hoop nets...

Find you two heavy weights about 30-40 lbs a piece, To hold it open

Get you some rice, and put it in a bucket with a little water and let it ROT.

Im on GI-115 right now, ill call you when i get in.

Dont forget where you put it.

Watch where you put it because the tugs will roll it around (thats why you need some heavy weights if your in the channel). And also, some places north of the lake arther bridge are about 50 feet deep..

I have about 4 to put out also..

P.S.... You need a liscence now.. even if you have just 1 net. Gotta go all the way to Baton Rouge for the inital liscence, then you can update by mail after that.. I need to go get mine to,:shaking:
