JUGGS

i want to put together some jugs to catch some cats... last time i did it with 2 and 3 liter bottles. The new "cool" way to do it is with the pool toys, lol. what is the best way to go about it? i would like to see some pics if anyone has them? thanks!

I mostly jug on the Red river near my camp and its pretty deep so my lines are made of I think 750lb for the main line and doubled up 220 lb with a 2/0 swivel for the drops with a 7/0 hook & have about 8lbs of wt at the bottom. I come up about 5 feet with my first drop and 3ft beteen the next 2 (total of 3 hooks) with all that wt
sinking in the mud a big cat is gonna get tired fast dragging it around. The jug just marks the end of the line for me but I may be in 60ft fo water. Limb lines are better cuz they got some river rats that like to run jig lines that ain't theirs!

what I've done is cut a noodle three ways wihich is I think around 18" cut 3/4 pvc 20" plus cap one end take the other cap & drill center add a small eye bolt with nut on inside when you glue make sure to add extra glue to seal off nut then glue on pvc, slide in noodle. use small eyebolt to tie line too, extra couple inches of pvc on other end wrap in reflective tape. can see a mile off at night with a q-beam!
