I make a mess making dumplings but i'm so glad my wife showed me how. Hand rolled dumplings are the onlt way to do it imo.

I have done the hand rolled ,but i like using canned biscuits better . Different texture i guess.

I do mine hand rolled, but I use the chicken stock from the pot and seasoned flour.

Squirrel and dumplings in a Dutch oven is hard to beat.
