Trout and Redfish Slam

Gordon Johnson with Solenis was back onboard the big Bluewave today with his crew. We were greeted with somewhat calm winds, so the game plan was to look for trout. First stop found dirty water and not a bite. Second intended location found boats so we kept moving. Our next stop found clean water and trout 16-20 inches, just not many of them. We picked away at them on Green Hornet Matrix Shad tight lined. We tried corks but never got a bite. Once the bite shut down we headed straight to the redfish honey hole in the shallows. My crew started catching every cast as soon as we pulled up. They iced down 8 keepers in less then ten minutes, then picked through keepers and throwbacks for over a hour. They iced down 19 reds before we had to call it quits early to get back to the dock for a business meeting. Always a pleasure fishing with these guys, thanks again Gordon for the continued business.
