Gender of first child

The wife and I found out that our first baby will be a girl. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Any suggestions that yall have for a first time daddy?

Absolute congratulations! Learn to reload ammo for your favorite rifle, pistol and shotgun. Thank me later. HahaMy only child is now 2. Red headed hazel/green eyes.
Like duck wrote, do not take a single moment forgranted. Read something to her every night before bed. Always treat her mother the way you expect your future son in law to treat her.

i remember when my daughter was around 5 or 6 i took her and my wife to blind river to fish perch. i did not even have a pole in my hand it was for them to fish....i pulled up and tied to a tree next to a big stump and my daughter pulled them in left and right and my wife complained she couldn't fish there and i put the boat there on purpose so i moved it and she started catching and my daughter started whining i moved the boat so she couldn't catch.....moral of the story.....don't take both of them to blind river or anywhere together......you ain't gunna win......

Congrats man! My little niece has me wrap around her finger. Those little girls have a way of getting what they want.

Enjoy your sleep. Cause once she is born you will never sleep the same again, no matter what age she is.

Congratulations!
My little girl was born in January and is already getting too big! The last three months have felt like less than three weeks! If possible don't go back to work too soon. I took my 5 days of paternity leave but if I had it to do again I would take all of my vacation and sick leave for the year to be home those first few weeks.

No matter how much everyone tries to explain it and no matter how much you think you are prepared, there is NOTHING that you can do to be ready for the emotions that you will feel when the Dr. first places your screaming baby girl in your arms.

It is a true miracle and there is no other way to describe it.

I had a little boy, but those feelings ain't no lie!

Paternity Leave?!?!?! After 36 hours of standing by my wife in labor, I was climbing rice silos for an audit client. I need to have a chat with my boss on the next one.
