Hit the water this afternoon with a work partner for a trip which turned into a very quick trip due to him having a boat malfunction. Got to fish top water for about an 45 min to an hour and caught four solid trout on top water and two solid trout on a popping cork. Used a nickel spook jr and a DOA clear red flake shrimp under the cork. I do think it would have been a good trip if the boat problem would not have shown its ugly head. The water looked real good and was fishing an incoming tide.
