Looks like it would try to 'run away' from you without a truck pushing back on it.(when loading) I guess you float it on.

The rail type launch's were common at Toledo Bend back in the day. You can still see remnants of the old rail launch's today.

I have a friend on Rayburn that has a rail set up for his pontoon boat. Very easy to operate, one person can easily operate it.
