Moon Phases
How many people pay attention to moon phases in picking hunting times. I hunted this past weekend in Winnfield, La. We didn't see a deer until after 10:00 a.m. both days. No tracks or nothing till then. I Have Killed many deer by hunting mid-day when there is a full moon. Just wanted to find everyone elses experiences.

I do it later in the season. It is to hot for me to sit in the box that late in the morning. I have only killed one mid day but have seen my fair share between 10 and noon.

I have done it a few times before but this year I plan on trying to hunt every day according to the astro table and lunar activity just to see how much of a change it is.

I hunt around Winnfield too and we had several deer killed at different times. A couple were killed early morning to mid morning. Nothing after that though.

If it is a full moon I am always finding myself getting skunked during the morning hunt.
