Well I am gonna give it a go this morning! I have been invited by a friend I have not seen in awhile to hunt in GC. He heard about my misfortune in Lacassine through the grapevine and decided to call me. I will post how we do when I get home. I am a getty as a school girl this morning! Good luck. Today should be a really good day. walked out of the house and is cool with a north wind blowing got me all pumped up!!!

I been working in this weather all night.....got ducks on my mind as soon as the wind switched out the north

I was alittle worried last night at dark. It got foggy foggy here! I was thinking, "Man I hope this isn't what's to come for tomorrow". But it looks fine now!

Yeah wind switched around 9 or so and instantly felt good outside. Should be new ducks in the area with the weather!!!!

Bout to roll out. Hope we actually kill somethin today. In 4 hunts we've accumulated 3 birds. Hope it turns around.

Well the weather wasn't what it was supposed to be. The birds flew high mostly all morning. We did manage to kill our limit of 12. 10 greys one teal and my first woodduck(Drake). The birds were not working well. Had to really stay on them with the calls to convince them to come on down. We did not see anything other species other than what we killed. I was very pleased and had a awesome time!

sounds like a great time! Going to gc in the morning, but just checked the weather gonna have a east wind at 5mph. Not good
