Well tomato's bout shot . Been eating since April 1 so I guess it's their time to go . Egg plants in container still going strong Trying out 2 of them black krim in containers for the heck of it . Got a couple lil ones popping out . Wish I would have planted 4 now . All the rain took care of the cukes and squash . Hope the second half turns out as good as the first . Seems to me everything does better in the containers ....

What soil do you use in your containers?

I go to home depot and get what I guess you call the generic brand of top soil at $1.69 a bag and a dollar something bag of compost manure and mix with a 5 gallon bucket leaves . Add in a cup of 888 or 13 13 13 ....As the leaves break down they add to the pot...Lil shot of miracle grow or some type every couple weeks. When finished I add to the garden out back and start over next year . I use half 30 gallon barrels . Peppers will grow in 5 gallon buckets .
