Attic Insulation

Ok guys....I built my house approx 10 years ago and had the cellulose blown in the attic. I was in the attic earlier pouring some bleach in my a/c drain to keep from having clogging issues this summer and noticed the insulation has settled dramatically.....

Opinions on what I should do....should I just get more cellulose sprayed in or should I get the fiberglass sprayed over the cellulose.....and how thick to spray. Thanks in advance guys.

And is anyone on here in the Sulphur area that does this...

Believe it or not, it's not that hard to do yourself. I was hesitant at first. Stine will loan you machine free if you buy ten bags or more of the insulation. They even have gauges you nail to the studs that tell you R value as you are spraying. I overcalculated mine and it is now 18 inches deep. Machine comes with a long hose and feeding the machine is a breeze too. It also sprays a good distance. Saves a lot of coins doing it yourself.

Ok.....I may look into that. I have a 20 year old son that will be a perfect candidate lol....I guess just spray some more cellulose then....I don't mind over calculating, my A/C could use a break.

I just sprayed over the old roll in stuff I had. It goes a long way.
