Ruger makes some good ones

Its hard to beat the dependability of a Ruger 10/22. They have plenty of accessories if you want to build it a certain way. I have one thats been in my truck for 5 yrs. Use it for squirrel hunting and shooting anything else. Great gun.

i know you said semi auto but the marlin 39a lever action is the best 22 out there. most accurate 22 out of the box. i got mine when i was 14 and it still is a tack driver.

I like the remington .22 pump aswell (don't think they sell em anymore) :(

I don't like the rotary clips on the 10/22, i have had one for years

I also have a browning semi auto 22 that breaks in half, like it better!

or better yet, the good ol nylon 66 in apache black!
