i saw walmart is carrying federal 40 cal loads for about 12 or 13 a box of 50, not bad.

i think the cci blazer ammo is also fine for range time...

ill pretty much shoot any full jacket round at the range...but i got a few boxes of these bad mofo's that stay in a clip next to mah bed and in mah truck...just in case stuff really starts getting heavy...by far my favorite tactical/kill bullet out there..only other bullet ive found to compare to it is the Corbon DPX...they are just harder to find...

Hopedale Hustler 09-18-2009 10:08 AM

You got alot of the DPX?

LaAngler 09-18-2009 10:12 AM

I like the gold dots and the golden sabers

it's also important to run at least a decent amount of your defense ammo in your gun even tho it's expensive

yak'em-n-stack'em 09-18-2009 10:17 AM

My uncle told me the other day we were gonna load some good hollow points or my gun jus to have. Shells cost me abou 7 dollars a box

Hopedale Hustler 09-18-2009 10:27 AM

thats not bad at all..7 bucks a pop...i wish

Check these rounds out... I have 3 boxes that have been issued to me. But they usually go for about 60 dollars a box.

yeH I got the +p+ in my 45 they are super pricey

speck-chaser 09-20-2009 09:46 PM

check out buffalo bore ammo. Their 115 gr. 9mm. are going out there at 1400 fps with 500 foot pounds. These are some potent rounds. THey have a good little bite to em.

Don't shoot too much +p+ through a manufacturer's barrel. Most are not designed to handle the increased pressure and can become warped over time. Most folk's pocket books prohibit this, but its something to be aware of.
