Fished both lakes and channel with Ramos. Trout were nice sized but no numbers. 8 Trout and 1 Red. Natural Shrimp Jerk Jrs again. Few bit tail off of lure, water was 71 deg but fish were hitting lile cold water bite. slowed down retrieve and started catching more. Fishing in 20 ft water.

thanks... had some and didnt even know....I fished pretty much same days & times as you did this past week, just wasnt as consistant as you all.... I was in a red & white skeeter..we going to have to get togather some time and put it on em..

Were you fishing shallow? I seen a red and white Skeeter fishing shallow at the bridge a couple days. We were in 15 to 20 ft at daylight, then moved to 40 ft after that bite stopped.

Lake Charles Tackle and Tackle Shop in Sulphur has Jerk Jr.'s.

One of us fishes 1/8 oz. and the other 1/4 oz. Yellowmouth lead heads.
Which ever one works best, we both go to.
Every day the fish change up here. We never do good on the same spot 2 days in a row.

yup dat was me.. you are correct.. didnt catch in the same spot 2 days in a row..... holler next time you see me out their usually by my self... aint got no padnas that want to pay for fuel,ice or beer. so if i gots to pay for everything just as soon go alone..
