Dog Foods

What are y'all feeding your retrievers? I've been feeding 1yr old Lab/Setter mix Blue Freedom since she was a pup. I just recently switched her to the large breed adult. It seems like a good food, but at $47.99 for a 24lb bag, it's getting pricey. I work with her some, but she isn't a true working dog. Just a high energy mutt that likes to fetch and swim in the pond. Just looking for what everyone else out there is feeding. Are their some cheaper alternatives that are still decent?

For a non-specialty dog food, Pedigree works for me and seems to cause less issues than Purina. About $22-24 for 50 lbs.

Mine has been on purina pro plan. But my trainer is in the process of switching him to nutrisource super performance.

I've been on them all and taste of the wild salmon has worked the best for me. With everything else the ear infections were an issue. He's been on it for over a year now and it has worked well. I started out on pro plan then eukanauba and victor. All were good food just taste of the wild was readily available

I have been giving my lab taste of the wild since she was a pup. Going on 4 years now. Not had any problems. I like that they have several different flavors to choose from. I usually get 2 different ones at a time and mix them up. She is on the salmon and waterfowl flavors right now. She cant get enough of it. I also order it online from Chewy.com. By getting the 2 bags, I get free shipping and delivered to my door.
