how is price lake rd?
 
I want to bring my son on his first crabbing trip, and I want to do it without a boat. anyone tried price lake rd lately? how about sabine refuge past hackberry?

I have never had any luck on Price lake since the new dock was built. I would try Hackberry

Or you can try Joseph's Harbor at the East End Locks at the Rock.

I usually go to Joseph's but always out my boat (which is broke right now). I always thought if you weren't first in line for those locks in the mornin, you were screwed. There's always so many people there.

so how'd the trip go? hopefully your son enjoyed himself, that's always the main thing. Glad to hear you're getting him started early
