From what we saw yesterday afternoon, we started the morning thinking we could be choosy. That didn't last long though.

Talked to friend in Hackberry on the way home. They saw lots of birds Friday afternoon and killed mostly spoonies this morning.

I saw tons of geese yesterday, today we shot one time and the bird flew off cripple never to be found. I was pissed! Not one dang bird wanted to work.

5 blinds this morning with 18 birds and 1 blind with 10 birds. Oh and we all limited out on mosquitoes.

Teal, Greys, weidgon, and spoons.

Best opening day I can ever remember. Tons of teal and greys but we killed heads, tails, blacks and widgeon. The birds came out of the burns in flocks of 30 or more nonstop. If this keeps up it should be one banner year.

Once it started I didn't have a solid 30sec without birds coming or passing...can't wait for tomorrow!!!

I need to get in on all this action, anybody have any room for one more, HA.
