Skeet or Sporting Clays?

Anybody do much of it? I have done it a little but would like to get more serious about it. Any info on club shoots that would let a nonmember pay to shoot a match with them? I would like to get better at it. Thanks

Try the Nat****oches Shooting range they are a public range. You can find them on the wildlife and fisheries site. I have never been there so I can't say how good or bad the place is. Good luck

I am a member at Covey Rise in Husser........it is public.........really nice place and you can shoot as a guest.

Hunter's run in Port Allen.......guest allowed...kinda a plane Jane place but good people.

Thanks everyone. I'll be doing some online investigating. I'm sure the wife is gona love this.lol
Like I said I've shot a few but nothing serious. Shot two fund raisers for kiwanis club but it was mostly shooters like me that were just having fun for a good cause. There were a few people that didn't come to play. They could shoot. I think I had more fun watching them than I had actually shooting. I love watching a skilled shooter do some work.
I haven't shot a match of any kind in a while and miss the atmosphere. I have met some great people on the range. This is just another shooting art I would like to learn to be good at.

This is a neat operation, stations and most all other work is done by kids. It is sporting clays, a tough course, on $20 for 50 clays, all very good equipment too.

We live close and are out there all the time. In Jeanerette, not hard to find.
