Got a speck/blue hybrid this morning. First one. Came in with a group of specks. Headed to the taxidermist!

Love to see a pic of the breast area. I have never seen or heard of this mix before.

MarshRat89 02-01-2014 06:55 PM

What do you mean when u say specks on the belly? Did it have the black bars on its belly, or white splotches? Leucism is common in waterfowl (lack of pigment) so curious if it had the dark splotches like a speck. Can you show us a pic of the breast??

Top Dawg 02-01-2014 08:57 PM

It had dark specks like a speck. No picks of the chest dropped him off to my taxidermist. He said he's only seen a couple but he confirmed.

MarshRat89 02-01-2014 09:28 PM

Who you getting to mount it?

Not all of them. A grown up blue is an eagle head. Some blues turn white.

bjhooper82 02-02-2014 12:08 PM

I'm not not and I hope your right but it looks like a young blue to me also. I wish you had a few more pics.

Top Dawg 02-02-2014 12:10 PM

"W" 02-02-2014 12:11 PM
