Boykin Pup - Male

6 Attachment(s)
This is our second and last litter with my boykin, Stella. She had 4 males and 4 females, whelped April 28th. Pups will be 8 weeks old this Friday. Both parents are registered with the Boykin Spaniel Society and we've mailed in the litter registration papers, waiting to get them back.

We have 1 male left which we call Big Blue, he received the "navy" collar and is one of the larger pups. Please message me if you're interested, I'll be happy to answer any questions.

We're located in the Lafayette area.

I got Stella almost 7 years ago and she's been an amazing companion and hunter. Stella's hunts dove, ducks, quail, pheasant and geese.

Here are few pictures of my dog Stella and of Big Blue.

It's hard to get action shots of the pups, always on the go until they crash.

Thanks

Beautiful pups! My Boykin is right at 6 months old and currently under going obedience training. I didn't even know these dogs existed a year ago. Super cool dogs! Would recommend one to anyone!

Thank you! We've had fun with them and couldn't be happier with this breed. Good luck with your training and going forward you're going to have a blast with that personality and drive!

8 pups have been a handful but it's amazing how quickly they grow and get personalities. We came from labs and for the hunting we do and the lifestyle we have our boykin works great for us. Indoor, outdoor, lapdog, retrieving, flushing, pointing and some success with blood trail/deer recovery.

Do they shed?

I believe they are considered moderate shedders, not near as bad as a lab, and just like most dogs if your able to brush them here and there it will help keep shedding down. They will go through differnt coats with the season.

Had some questions about the stud, Chip, here are a couple pictures of him and of my female Stella (orange collar). Chip lives on a quail hunting plantation in Union Springs, Alabama. Thanks for everyone's interest, let me know if I can answer anymore questions.
