Over the Edge!

Got voluntold for the Rescue and Medical Squad at the chemical plant I work at. We went through first responder / ems training two weeks ago. This week we are doing Rescue training in Baton Rouge at the Roco Rescue training facility. Day one they had us Rappelling from a 60ft high structure. Ive never done anything like this but it was cool! The rest of the week ought to be interesting. Here are a few pics

We did our fire training in house this year, its usually at LSU but they wanted us to train on our own equipment

It's like sex!!! The more you do it, the more you want to!!!

Coolest drop I ever did was LSU stadium - way cool. Best trainging I ever got to do was at Angola - special ops team from BR was the shat!!!!!!

Don't let him fool ya! That hard hat has been on that head since day one!!! He's an operator now so, he don't have to get it torn up! Lol

looks like a lot of fun!

Was a volunteer fire fighter for 4 years. The repelling was scary at first. I was always scared of heights. After a few times I was addicted. Also the rush of going into a burning house was something i came to love. Wish I was younger and could do it again.

Go head first next time ..... its way faster!!!!

We do it onsite. So we practice on our own equipment and structure.
