Caucasian Jetty Pier Fishing and Boat Launch Closing
 

I saw on KPLC that the boat launch, walk on jetty fishing, and RV camping area will be permanently closed March 8. The road will be closed and become private. This all being done so the new LNG plant can be built there.

I heard same thing. state sells off recreation area to lng.lng will be death of our lake system

Maybe I missed something on the KPLC news..... but what I remember is that these areas will be closed during the construction of the LNG plant which is to be build a little south of where the Cameron boat launch is [east side of ship channel] on Davis road.


I did not hear anything about this area becoming private. I have not seen anything in the news paper.

Sounds permanent to me

Disappointing. Our family had lots of great times both from launching at that ramp and from fishing the pier.

That's racist of them to close the Caucasian pier.

So much for 'white privilege' .......LOL

Although, after a few of them Caucasian's, 'The Dude' would abide.;)
