Thx guys! Since I'm building houses now I haven't got behind a saw or nailgun in a couple years , my trim crew still cranks out detail like this everyday but man I miss gettin my hands dirty sometimes! It's about to change though since I'm building a new house for me n my fiancé, I'm trying to really push the project along so I can spend over a month ( normally would be in a house that size for 5 days) locked in there tricking it out with molding, secret doors, paneled walls ect

Can I come watch one day while you're trimming yours? Always enjoyed good trim work!

Hell yea man thats some fine work there. I remember a bad *** table you built a couple years back that I told me wife a wanted for our kitchen. You still have that pic? It was rustic looking and a dark stain, I think?

How do you get the bend around the arched passageways. I have a few in my house I'd like to try and do. I wax a structural fitter so cutting and measuring dint no thang to me.

To do the jambs if it's a slight arch or eyebrow I make a reverse template / jig and laminate 1/8- 1/4" material and glue it up then bend it over jig while glue is still wet . If its a tight radius I cut out the arch on a band saw from wide boards n glue them up . As for the trim you have to make a jig and send it thru a molding machine. If its paint grade you could use rubber flex jamb and trim but I try not to because it dimples when u nail it and looks like crap
