On river for 715 or so this am and went straight to the spot I caught those 40 Sunday. Right away started catching. Caught 12 there but put 7 in livewell. Only keeping 10" or larger today. Fished several more spots catching lots of smaller ones and releasing most over next couple hours. Decide to go north. Have not been north in quite some time. Glad I did. Found a new hole just below white oak park and almost almost all of em were over 11"! Several 15"ers and one 16"er my largest of the year. Fished 25 feet of water. Sometimes 10 feet down others just off the bottom. Ended day with 25 of the nicest Crappie of the year and a two 15" bass. I'd say I came real close to catching 50 again but releasing smaller ones now. 16" Crappie and the largest bass came off a little bitty baby bream. I got down to little shiners that they wouldn't eat so I used them in pieces to catch some little bream just to see and it worked, lol.

There is nothin wrong with that. That makes me wanna skip work and drown a few shiners.

Found a treetop in a little deeper water. 20-25 feet. Anywhere from 10 feet down to foot off bottom. All tight line no corks this trip. Bigger fish seem to be above old town bay with numbers south. My previous largest this year was 15". That fish was caught close to where these were caught. Idk Crappie ate bream.

I'm thinking you could hang a turd on a string and catch crappie.
