Has anyone else noticed that you are mainly catching spotted bass on the Calcasieu this time of year?? They takin' over? I've never caught this many spotted bass on the river

Caught quite a few today in Pierre Part. Seemed like more spotted bass than anything.

Are they Spotted bass or Kentucky bass......or are these the same fish?

I've been told, some black bass can have a tooth patch also. Another telling feature, the jaw does not extend past their eyes.

Bingo. 9/10 of my LM, have the black spot, thats whats throwing me off
