Shot the sx3...very smooth shotgun!

Couldn't tell you about the rest.

Can never go wrong with beretta

Bucoo 11-22-2012 04:57 PM

I have the sx3. Just got it this year do can't tell you about reliability yet but it is a nice gun. It's really smooth and it's light. Know of somebody with a browning silver. He likes it and it hasn't given him any problems.

Beretta or franchi u can't go wrong! Browning ain't what they used to be by far and I want to say browning and Winchester are made in the same place so if I were u I'd stick with the beretta or franchi.

Beretta or sx3

cajunforeman 11-22-2012 06:21 PM

I might know of a fairly new sx3 that my uncle might sell. If your interested pm me

Browning Gold Hunter and SX2 used to be the exact same gun except Browning had a magazine cutoff switch. I'm sure that's still the same. So SX and Silver are probably pretty much the same gun. I never heard of that Franchi but have heard the I-12 is a good gun. I would choose the Beretta though if I had to pick between the 4.

Bought my buddy an M-2 super 90 yesterday, he paid me back! That gun is slick as owl $hit! Same gun as SBE but only shoots 3". It will be my next gun purchase for sure. Tax title and license $1 ,500 out da dough. Thought I wanted the new A-5 but that thang is sooo sweet I just can't buy a browning.

i have an Sx3 waterfowler. by far the best shotgun I ever shot. I put about 500-600 rounds through it during hunting season and about 1500 in the off season shooting skeet shoots. yes it is a 3.5 and I shoot winchester AA sporting clay shot WITHOUT a problem. With all the skeet shoots I shoot I see lots of gun malfunctions. EVERY malfunction is a beretta and there is at least one every shoot. I'd stick with winchester or browning (same company) The SX3 is made in Belgium by FN. Need I say more? Not saying every beretta is a bad beretta but I will say they are hit or miss when it comes to reliability.
