in search of a reference to a guide or mentor

Looking to see if anyone knows someone that would be willing to show a guy and his 10 year old the lay of the land for Bun****s and or Toledo. Heck i'll even take local SWLA fishing for mainly white perch (his favorite). If I can't find any info here, i'll start getting on FB and checking out guides. We have caught a few on the Houston River and Lacassine, all by coincidence. Thanks in advance.

Go check out crappie.com , they have a Louisiana page and I know I've seen a few guys post reports from bun****s. Good luck

Lol the forum blocks out "bundix" lake.

We used to have a camp there. Used to be amazing white perch fishing. Throw crickets, minnows, or jig. Just depends on time of year how deep they are.

Don't have to be smart to find them with a good fish finder.

They should be hitting hard about now. Just pick different trees, docks, and structures, throw some bait in, see what happens. If they're there they'll hit quick. Then just repeat the recipe for success!

thanks. I'll check on that. Just heard a lot about stumps and folks loosing lower units out at "bundix" lol. Someone broke my depth finder last weekend and is supposed to be replacing it this week.
