How many of yall have mudboats, tunnel hulls, or other skinny water boats? What do you have and how do you like it? No real reason for the question im just interested to see what people have and like.

How wide is that? It has to be wide to hold both engines, and cc or tller?

My dad just bought a 18x54 pro drive cc boat with 36horse on it. Ain't even put it in the water yet. Gonna hit the Wax and Venice in it this winter.

fishaholic82 02-26-2012 06:12 PM

My buddy has an 18x46 gator tail with a 35 gtr that has a stage 3 modd set-up and I love fishing out of it. I plan on buying the same set-up but the 52" extreme bottom in a couple years once my bay boat is paid off.

Just get a haynie. Cuz apparently you can get up in 1" of water in the marsh then run 120 miles out in 8' seas at 50+mph. Best of both worlds!

For them 8 footers, might wanna get the additional freeboard.

youu_whoo_whoo 02-26-2012 09:17 PM

Does all of the extra wood in it help it float better?
