Yep x 10. That's quiet an investment fir a working man. Good to see someone honest enough to try to return it. If it doesn't work out lucky him but he tried doing the right thing. Not many people left that would try.

God will reward you hopefully.
In trying to let the owner know that you have his equipment,( he prob does not look at this site) maybe post a note up at the car wash with some contact info. He or one of his buddies might see the note and then can let you know.
Maybe let the local police know in case he gets in touch with them about his missing rods.
Good luck

after numerous post on different sites and shares on FB the young man has claimed his fishing gear..Young man from Alexandria that plays golf for UL and has family in Rayne! Mission accomplished! thanks for the kind words from you fellow fisherman I would have hated being the one lost them they weren't no mickey mouse rod and reals...and they were left at the carwash after rinsing off the truck and boat..and I wasn't the one that actually found them they were a few other good people involved in this effort so I cant take all the credit here..Fish on my friends!

Great to hear that. Whoever it is he's from my area. Good equipment is not cheap. My stuff isn't the best out there but it isn't cheap. 4/5 rod/reel combos can easily be a grand. That's a chunk for a working weekend warrior. Glad to see honest people do what they can to retutn the gear. We need more of that thinking in this country.

Great effort on your part!!
Glad you found the owner
