HURRICANE HARVEY IS GONE - GOOD RIDDANCE AND NEVER COME BACK

As most of you know hurricane Harvey came screaming through Houston and parts of southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana last Thursday leaving destruction and damage in its path. Please pray for everyone touched by this hurricane and volunteer to help everyone recover from this terrible disaster last week.

SPEAKING OF LAST WEEK
We have been closed for the past 11 days and had our first boat back in the water yesterday. Captain Zach Mitchell ventured to the lake at first safe light looking for trout and redfish. Late mid-morning he located some trout down on the beach front for a good day on the water. Today was also the first day that live shrimp was available for bait. Mid-week we will be getting a front through our area that will make fishing the short rigs more inviting.
Here are a couple of pictures from last September during early teal season.
