Nonk Charles Crab Hole Road

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will be closing Price Lake Road on Rockefeller State Wildlife Refuge (SWR) weekdays from March 15 through April 2. The closure is due to storm-related repair work to be done on the levee road. Price Lake Road will be open for public access on weekends.
A primary access roadway for public recreational use of the refuge's western acreage, Price Lake Road has continued to experience undercutting and erosion since it was initially damaged badly in September 2008 by Hurricane Ike's storm surge.
Located south of LA Hwy. 82, Rockefeller SWR straddles the Cameron-Vermilion Parish line and is a popular fishing and crabbing public access point. The eastern portion of the refuge, which includes a public boat launch area, is open for public use during daylight hours.

Ray.....where exactly is this road?

I have looked for it when driving past the headquarters area. I have not seen any road that looks to go south of Hwy 83 anywhere around this area.

It's the road that goes back to where the crabbers go. It also goes back to where they hatch alligators. Not sure if there is a sign, but it is not a blacktop road. It is a limestone road.
