04 yamaha 40 3 cyl questions

Ok so just bought a 04 yamaha 40. Dont know much about the Yam. heard there good motors. I gotta get a new lower unit it for it, Any suggestions where i can pick one up? Oh and a tiller handle. Any small mods i can do? Its going on the back of a allweld 15x42. Been looking at buying a clever prop, Im gonna be using this boat for fishing the marsh, toledo bend etc would a clever be a good choice? Gonna get some boissen reeds for it as well. Any body else running this type of motor? If so tell me a good set up for a little bit of everything. Speed, reliability and good torque for shallow running. Any help would be great thanks guys.

I ran one like this for about 6-7 years...I ran the snot out of it everytime I got in it. I had my head shaved .030 and boyeseen reeds. Mine was on a 15/48 weldbilt and it ran 39mph was the best I could get out of it. I spoke with Kent Foreman before and I second that, I would look him up if you want a dependable motor with a few mods.
