Crabs Hog Island Gully ?

I have some friends in from out of state they are wanting to go crabbing Tuesday and I don't know anything about it what are the limits ect. And where are they being caught I have seen people crabbing at hog island gully before is that the best bet for the south of Lake Charles area ? Thanks for any input !

Hog Isl and West Cove would be ok, make sure they purchase license. There is also a place just north of Holly Beach that you can park and crab without a ticket from Cameron Po Po.

I've done better at blue crab recreational point than hog Island.

Hadn't been in a few months, sorry I'm no help. Get what you need before you get past Hackberry. Nothing in Holly Beach except Ice at R.V. Park.
