If you're married or have been with the same woman a while you know what this means.
I'll keep it short so it will be facts without a story.
A while back our daughter got a ferret and my wife loves it. We all do honestly.
Early this week we went to PetCo to get a few things and the lady there said a shipment of ferrets was coming this week.
Just at lunch time today.
Wife.. Can we go to PetCo and look at the ferrets?
Me.. Yes we can go get you a ferret.
Wife.. No, I just want to go look.
Me.. Uhh Huh.

Guess what we bought at lunch?

Haha. I think we all can relate. Unfortunately mine wife asked if we can go look for a Tahoe.

No "wife said this but meant this" beats the dreaded "Just do whatever you want". That is a man's curse.
We hear" I can do whatever I want."
They mean " Take whatever you want and do the opposite."

I know I'm not alone on this one.

Not all wives are like that - hehe. I'm the one that finds the 4-wheelers and boats. And deer leases.

Oh don't get me wrong. My wife is awesome. She is my best friend and fishing buddy.
I'm sure us guys leave our ladies in those "uhh huh" moments.

I know exactly what you mean. I hate when they think we should know "I'm going to bed" really means "let's go to bed baby".

I once bought my wife one of those mood rings that changed colors so I could tell what kind of mood she was in.
When she was in a good mood, the stone turned blue.
