Dove Season Opening Day
 

Well it looks like the field I had planned on hunting got enough rain that we won't be able to hunt this weekend. Headed out there later today and try to make some ditches with the tractor to get the water off. Gonna get em on the second split. Sucks :pissed:

Dang I was just about to hit you up about that. I figured it would be wet though :(

Just wet enough to screw things up. Not very happy about canceling the hunt but can't gripe because we didn't suffer any damage. Feel bad about the guys who got hit so hard by the storm. I'll at least have time to burn the field before the next hunt now.

I am gonna go try to get some Sunday or first of next week, I went and checked last Sunday and it seems like they were more active in the morning than evening

Gonna bump this up, not going to be hunting at my place this weekend after all guys, wet wet wet. I'll be offshore the next weekend but it will be rescheduled for the second split.

Man i wish i was making a dove hunt this weekend

The management are in Montegut we hunt is closed so im going to miss it
