W not sure the name but it sure looks like one you would catch "CROAKER SOAKING":confused:....Not sure what it is....Plan on going to BL tomorrow.

that is a male bull croaker. they are known for swallowing hooks that are baited with dead shrimp. i always knew you were a croaker soaker. but i won't tell no one.

Southern Kingfish - AKA: Channel Mullet, Black Mullet, etc... I know people that swear the it is the best tasting fish in the water. It is the "Creature Feature" in LA Sportsman magazine this month, but I know that due to all the animosity, none of you read the magazine anymore...or none of you admit to it.

it was caught on a sand eel. i thought it was a channel mullet but the spots threw me off
