Gun Show in Gonzales...
 

Is anyone thinking bout making a trip to the Lamar Dixon gun show this weekend? I think I'm gonna go tomorrow. I've never been to one here. Let me know if you got something in particular that you are looking for.

Well, that was a waste of time! I think you could get a good deal once upon a time at a gun show. Man, most of what I saw there today was more expensive than Cabela's! Even the reload ammo was WAY too high!

I think they get people on the mythological part of guns shows. People are made to believe that the best deals are at the shows. Well, they are NOT!

All my best deals have come at shows. You just have to lurk by the entrance doors. It's the walkers that have the deals, not the dealers. I've gotten good deals from regular joes that have tables, but I generally don't deal too much with dealers. They know me so well here, they chat me up and talk guns, ask for my opinions, but they never try to sell me anything.
