Anybody seeing any teal? I saw 1 in Grand Chenier Saturday morning and a few small groups scattered around Wright and Gueydan Sunday morning. Hoping they're just sitting tight until the shooting starts and this front moving in helps us a little bit.

Not that anyone cares but I know the fields with water in NE LA in richland parish are full of em.
Looks like a cool front coming for the weekend which will help.

Didn't see a one at our lease in Grand Chenier Sunday.

im sure they will be scattered everywhere come saturday morning.

I heard lacassine, gueydan, and Fenton had birds. But that was last week.

Friday morning we had 2 teal on the farm. This morning we had three spoonbills.

Saw several thousand this weekend. Gonna be a fun opener.

Ran alligator lines all day today in the pecan is area and saw 3. Sometime that doesn't mean anything and they might show up when the shooting starts.

Spill the beans. Where?

Fenton and gueydan

Had a group work some blinds in GC and said they saw a few

Went out to south Kaplan Saturday morning early to see if they were flying but we were a lil late. We seen a flock of 6 buzz our pond and that was it. Without the pressure they were holding tight. We made our pond a little bigger and started the pump to put a little more water in the field. That afternoon my cousin went cutoff the pump and he said he saw some more teal and a big flock of woodies flying around. Should be interesting Saturday morning..

there is a field with a couple thousand south of welsh, not on my property but just on the other side of the fence ;)

they have been in the same field for weeks..

"front" coming through before the weekend might help you guys

Went work the blinds in the Boston last Saturday saw a few in the pond when we got there but none in the air. But that's normal for us not to see too much when we are working out there. But the marsh is looking the best that I have seen since before Rita. The season is looking good.

We have teal near Starks.

Heard there were plenty in the rice fields Kinder, Fenton area. Worked in JB marsh Monday and saw just a few holding in our pond and another big group working nearby.

I didn't see any in JB Monday.

Gonna ride down to marsh Friday and set up/scout. I will "Boom Scout" my way to a full limit starting around 6:30 Saturday am. Watch out Sabine here I come.

We got a good bit in gc...Rockefeller is holding about 20k also...Bab52 it's gonna be a good opener!

This toad strangler were getting right now, may give the birds some new real estate.

Made a pass out by our least yesterday afternoon. There were about 50 birds in the pond and quite a bit in the area. Saturday cannot come soon enough!

Our cut got buffaloed yesterday at my lease South of Kaplan. Saw 500-700 teal plus about 100 or so big ducks...

Land owner just called and said the teal went from a couple thousand to tens of thousands over night in welsh. Gonna be hard to get any work done today.

Well, my days shot. Need to go put out decoys right NOWWWWW.

Heard from a guy that was at my dad's place in Holly Beach brushing blinds yesterday evening and didn't see deeyick.

Had six in my back pasture today... Had thing is there is a foot of water back there from today's rain!

Tried to tell yall

Slow start this morning. Didn't see many birds in the first half hour of daylight then it turned on. Field total for the morning was 101Attachment 95203

At my lease South of Kaplan 7 hunters...42 Bw teal. I will post pics later today. We were done by 7:20.

hunted in lake Fausse Point. 3 teal, and didn't see many more than that.

nice and cool morning. caught 6 bass and gave them to some old people fishing.

going watch football and drink moonshine.

Started slow but finished strong in Klondike. Now time for football, gumbo and lovebugs.

Another 7 man limit this morning. But did take us a little longer than yesterday.

Got my solo limit in 20 minutes this morning. It was fast action!
