is the sand still real bad there? Did your friend call a wrecker if so whom did they call?
I have been stuck there a few times but have managed to get out and always wondered who to call??

Yep, sand real soft. My cousin went and got him out. They had to dig a ton!

There is a guy down there that has a tractor that will pull you out for $ 50. I don't know how to contact him.

they told me (several years back) it was against the law to pull someone out, you had to call wrecker! Yea right.... Was stuck there this summer and some guy in a side by side pulled us out I'm perty sure they worked for the county the way they was radio'd out., and I seen one of them driving the ambulance. Holly beach used to have a very active fire dept. Might have been them. I offered them money and you would have thought I was throwin fish heads at 'em
