'68 Camaro I recently finished.

Here is a '68 Camaro that I recently refinished. I had it for just over three weeks to get all the body and paint work done. It's the ultimate big, bad-a$$ toy. We went to the track the other day and watched it run an 8.80 sec quarter mile @ 154mph! BTW, that was a slow time since the track was bad! This thing is unreal!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I can only take credit for the body work and paint. The vinyl graphics were added Friday.

nice looking car... i bet that color was a pain in the arse to spray.... i hated doing blue metallic when i used to do paint work

Country Boy 02-01-2010 09:53 PM

Man ,that's nice

southern151 02-01-2010 09:59 PM

Not a Hemi! LOL I know you were joking. 540 Cu. In. big block. All naturally aspirated.

The color really wasn't all that bad to lay down. Minumum tiger striping, really. Simple little bit of cross-hatching and they all went away.

Very rewarding to get to see it out yesterday, running! That thing FLIES!!!!!!!!!! He got it near sideways and still stayed in it and ran an 8.80!

Bad a$$ car. My truck does 18.80 in 1/4 mile. Lol

Nice work personally I think she would look better with out the "vinyl graphics" And a 8.80 on a naturally aspirated engine is really good

I agree with you on that. I wish I had gotten pictures before they had done that but, I wasn't able to. To each his own with the graphix. There have been a number of vehicles I have fixed that I didn't agree with the final appearance but, customization is about the individual owning the car not the one building it. It's still a very awesome car to see and watch. Go check him out at Capitol Area Raceway. They run every Sunday, I believe.
