Ready to smack some blue rockets

I know it's still 2 months away, but i am ready to lay the smack down on some teal. I took the opening week of teal season off and will hunt everyday lord willing. My favorite time of the year shooting teal, starting the smoker, watching college football and cooler weather. Come on september!!! Woooooo hoooo!!!!!!

That's a tough one. If it was big duck then it would be a for sure no. But teal opener is tough.

That elaborate story about DGG getting a job was just a ploy to hide from Ratdog... mention of bringin him back a couple weeks ago had Chris skerd!!! Chris i think you should bring ole Rat... he can clean them ducks with the butcher knife. :work:

This is my first season since high school that me and my brother have a lease and I'm freaking pumped to no end. It sucks having to ask people for a spot in the blind! Now I just need to get my brother off his @$$ to go get the blinds ready :pissed:. I don't think he realized the work involved in a marsh lease. :shaking:

I know on the east side of PI it's been real dry..... Bush hogging was nice and dusty...

My cousin scheduled his bachelor party in Austin for Labor Day weekend. I was planning on going to LSU/TCU but we are real close so I backed out on that. Well yesterday he texts me and says that alot of guys couldn't make that weekend so he rescheduled for Sep 13-16. I said, "Bro I love you, but I ain't missing opening weekend of teal season unless someone is dead!" Talked him into rescheduling for weekend before Labor Day weekend. :) His brother whom I'm equally tight with scheduled his last year in ATL for Falcons/Saints opening weekend of duck season and wouldn't budge. I didn't make that one of course!
