SEPTEMBER FISHING CONTINUES TO COVER UP THE CLEANING TABLE
Every day last week the cleaning shed seemed to be loaded with great catches of trout, redfish and flounder. On Wednesday I even saw a Bass (we call em green trout) being filleted. Good tides continue to run helpless shrimp out of the marsh for waiting flocks of seagulls to show our fishermen where to cast. Good catches of trout are coming from Turner bay and the east side of the lake around basket reef on the bank. Good catches of fighting redfish are still hanging out in front and behind the weirs on the south end. Live mullet and shrimp have been good but Mirroluer's Little John, Gulp's copper penny shrimp as well as the glow/chartreuse Hackberry Hustler soft plastics have been just as good. October is shaping up to be another good one so call toll free at 888.762.3391 and check availability. Here are just a few of last week's hauls and you can see them all by clicking here. http://hackberryrodandgun.com/fishing/fishing-gallery/
