6/15/2018 Toledo Bend Crappie

Fished Hemphill area with a friend who lives there. Shiners were the main ticket but a few were caught on jigs. My friend knows his brushpiles up there. Caught over 40, released some. I couldn?t believe the size of most of them. I gave 19 of the fish away before these pics were taken. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...db3c620a5.heichttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ac130b07f.heichttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0ee944241.heic

Nice! My wife's grandfather lives in the Hemphill area and he wears the crappie out around there.

Rivers are too muddy so I'm going up to the camp on Toledo to try and catch some Crappie. I have only caught them around the dock there at shadows landing where my camp is. Not faking big boat so with marsh rig won't be able to run too far but I know of two spots around Negreet where my family catches them we just didn't catch any there when I went. Anyone have any pointers. Brush piles in 20-25 feet of water and maybe around docks that are in deep water or have deep water real close by is my plan.

Sounds like the best plan. I have no advice though. Let us know how it turns out.
