Advice for Bait
 

Taking the Kids fishing at the seawall tonight, coming from the Lafayette area, any suggestions on bait, I would rather use live but don't know where I will be able to find any

If there is no live bait option what would be a good plastic for the kids to use.

Gulp shrimp, DOA, or market shrimp IMO

Bring a cast net and a 5 gal. bucket. I would think you could catch some bait somewhere in that area.

glow colored baits at night...

How would you recommend fishing the gulp shrimp? Under a popping cork?

with kids, definitely.

used some before it does good but if the fish quit biting them switch to market shrimp on plastic it cud be any plastic tha glows.

Glow gulp!!! Kill 2 birds with one stone. Scent and visibility

I haven't tried those yet but they ought to be night killers!
