Who made this thing?
 

I have a .300 Savage caliber rifle with "Bishop" on the butt plate but no other name markings, just numbers.
Any way to tell who made it?

I want to trade or sell it out right, but I know nothing about it.
My dad gave it to me with some other guns. I pretty sure he just bought it off some one who needed cash at out gas station years ago.

I've had it for at least twenty years and shot it once years ago.

Bishop is just a reputable stock manufacturer. They made stocks for s few companies.
