X2....I also have a tournament pro. I only use them in freshwater though. I stick with shimano for salt.

Great reels... Fish them in both salt/fresh and zero issue. Very smooth and great drag. Out fishes the Shimano Curado all day in my opinion (compared to Lew's Speed Spool Series of similar gear ratio)

Bought me a Lew's Laser MG Speed Spool 7.1:1 today, should be in by the end of the week. Plan on fishing Saturday & Monday, I'll report back with my opinion.

N I n ja please! Those Lew's are some sweet reels and all but don't compare to a Shimano Curado. Maybe a G Series Curado.

I have 4 Lews tourney pros and 1 Tourney MG... have had all of them for 2 years.... had an issue with one of them but academy swapped it out for me no problem... I love them... I like them bc of the small profile... And they cast a mile and very smooth.

Crab. I have the t pro and it casts further than my green curado. Sold it after I had lews and never used it.

soooo....lots of votes for the tourney pro, is it better than the inshore or superduty?
|
Super duty felt to bulky for me. Haven't tried inshore

I have two of the lews inshore reels. have fished them in salt water since last june both wading and from the boat. Just had boca bearings installed in both. Have not had the first problem with them. They cast a country mile and the drag is smooth (right out of the box). I love the shimanos too but if you are looking to go with the lews youll be more than pleased with any of their products especially the tournament pro and the inshore. I also have a lews BB1 that is great its about $40 cheaper.
