13yr Olds have a Blast

Heath Siure and 13yr old boys from Texas jumped onboard the big Bluewave with me. We finally were greeted with perfect weather conditions, and I was expecting a smackdown!! First stop looked as though it was going to happen too. Birds diving on shrimp, no wind, falling tide. Well most of the trout were undersized and the bite fizzled quickly, as were catching the tail end of the falling tide. The next few hours were spent running and gunning from spot to spot with no tide and no fish. We decided to soak some crabs so the boys could have some rod bending action. This bite was even slow, but not before hooking up with four good fish. We fished four more areas for trout only adding two more fish. Just amazed how all week in the horrible conditions we caught way more fish than on a day with perfect conditions!! That's fishing I guess!! Anyways a couple of the boys said they caught their most fish ever and biggest fish ever. Big smiles and sore arms equals success!! Thanks again Heath, I enjoyed fishing with you guys.
