Head west and hit the open beaches! Wish I could be there too.

Last week the better fish were off of Elmers Island beach, near the now rocked over washout on glow/chartreuse tails under corks. Better fish to 20" seemed to like the Texas Tackle Factory Killer Flats Minnow v other stuff we threw. Lots of dinks on the sparkle beetle though. Good luck.

A friend of mine went and said most boats on the beaches were fishing too far from beach. He was limiting on top water in the first trough.

Ditto. My baits hit the sand on some casts.

we caught most of our fish on the beach in about 2-3 foot of water.

the other fish were in 8 foot around the rocks
