I have a question,

All you guys with dark colored hulls, blacks, dark blues, blues, dark greens and so on, do you seem to find scratches that show the white base coat often? obviously showing like a sore thumb against the dark color?

I wanted a black boat when I got mine but wife and dealer talked me out of it for those reasons and got a white one, with a grey deck,

scratches on my black hull are not obvious unless it's a severe, deep scratch. I've only had 1 decent scratch fixed in the 2 years I've had my boat and that's only because I tried to pull my boat out of the garage with my lawnmower still in front of it. I definitely go the extra mile to make sure my boat doesn't get scratched, and the black gel coat requires extra attention at each cleaning to keep it looking nice

On my bass boat, a 19'9" Legend with a black hull, you can't see scratches on the hull unless you lay on your back under the boat and look hard to find them. Probaly could cover them up with a good buff, but why?
